Manufacturing Technician/Engineer - Finishing

If the answer is yes, Mack would like to speak with you about joining our Statesville, NC, team as a Manufacturing Technician/Engineer - Finishing.
As the manufacturing arm for our customers, Mack has built a worldwide reputation for plastic injection molding, machining, design work, sheet metal fabrication and contract manufacturing. The Mack team helps launch new products for some of the top fortune 500 companies, as well as cutting-edge technologies for start-up organizations.
-Design, develop and document Assembly, CNC, Ultra Sonic, Printing, Glue Cell, Robotics and other processes within the Finishing department (knowledge of paint application would be a plus).
-Provide technical leadership in the development and training of assembly processes, equipment and technical personnel in the Finishing Department.
-Interface with Account Managers, Project Engineers, Quality, and Manufacturing personnel to resolve conflicts and improve process designs.
-Develop and document quality effective Work Instructions and packaging for new and existing products.
-Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
-Understand and use Mack Molding's Quality Management and Environmental Systems.
-Assist in identifying and correcting manufacturing issues that create non-conformities or inefficiencies.
-Act as liaison between Sales, Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to execute new processes meeting Customer requirements and ensuring smooth, successful manufacturing launches.
-Follow all Mack Molding safety rules and regulations.
-Maintain Mack Molding's standard of housekeeping in all areas.
-Prioritize daily activities and be able to work with minimal supervision.
-Any other duties as assigned by Department Manager.
Job Qualifications/License/Education/Required Experience:
-High School Diploma or GED.-2 years plastics experience, or combination of education and plastics experience.
-Good verbal, written, communication and Interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work with computer software.
Unusual Working Conditions:
-Able to travel for company business or training when required.
-Able to work a flexible schedule.
-Ability to interface with Customers, Vendors and Internal Staff.
-Exposure to temperatures ranging from 50 deg. To 100 deg.
Unusual Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
-Position may require extensive periods of standing and walking.
