Business Analyst Specialist

Your Work Falls into Three Primary Categories:

Monitor System's Execution in Production
Use automated and other tools to detect any problems in the operational environment
Proactively communicate with technology and business to resolve operational problems
Implement automation requirements and other technical enhancements
Gather and communicate patterns/trends in application performance to key stakeholders

First-line Requirements Validation
Actively seek opportunities to continuously improve the quality of systems and processes.

Analysis and Communication

Perform designed or ad-hoc analysis in a rapidly changing and moving environment in order to support capital markets trading desks.
Clearly craft and articulate messages (both written and verbal) related to Finance and Technology to a variety of audiences
Seek and design ways to automate tasks; ideally using Python or other programming languages.

QUALIFICATIONS Requirements
3+ years of work experience.
3+ years of experience with analytical tools: SQL, Python, Excel, and similar
Good knowledge of Fixed Income and/or Finance Analytics
Ability to analyze large datasets
Ability to work on weekend and evenings for one week a month is necessary.
Experience in interfacing with and/or supporting mission-critical applications or tasks
BSc in Finance, Computer Science or similar

PREFERRED SKILLS
Advanced degree; experience with programming languages: Java, Python, or similar; experience with Docker and Docker Containers
