Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Director of Business Marketing & Demand Generation Strategy to help manage and grow MUFG's Investor Services global marketing team, build brand equity and drive sales interest. The Director will strategize, design, and execute on compelling marketing campaigns that articulate our unique value proposition, trigger prospect/client pain points, address the competitive landscape and our key differentiators, position our spokespeople as thought leaders and capture sales interest. This individual collaborates with senior management, business unit heads and sales to support the growth strategy and is responsible for cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders to drive results.

This role reports to the head of marketing and external communications and a team player that is adept at working hands-on and in managing and leading the marketing efforts across business lines.

This person will be a key contributor to helping build the MUFG Investor Services Marketing & External Communications team.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business heads and product owners, management, and sales to develop and manage compelling marketing messaging, value propositions, persona analysis and marketing plans that deliver measurable results.
  • Strategize and advise on best practices in demand generation.
  • Develop and oversee marketing plans and tactics across the marketing mix including:
    • Content marketing (e.g., blogs, thought leadership, white papers, webinars, videos, etc.)
    • Digital advertising - social, retargeting, search engine marketing, etc.
    • Omnichannel lead generation and awareness campaigns
    • Sales tools and collateral
  • Build, lead and inspire internal marketing and external communications team across brand, PR, content marketing, campaigns, social, creative and sales operations.
  • Prepare and present marketing initiatives, data and analytics (ROI) results to management and other key stakeholders.


Qualifications
  • Expert in demand generation tools, tactics, and measurement.
  • Proficient in using SalesForce and marketing automation platforms, preferably Marketo
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills required
  • Experience managing, inspiring, and developing staff
  • 10+ years of marketing and / or communications experience in FinTech, alternative asset management, or private equity a plus
  • An inherent desire to help build a world-class marketing and external communications function from the bottom up.
