MTM, Inc. continues to grow and we are seeking a Manager, Education, Training & Outreach!

The Manager, Education, Training and Outreach (ETO) plays a critical role in educating key stakeholders, along with developing and maintaining relationships with those stakeholders. This position is responsible for providing outreach and education to diverse audiences through presentations, trainings, one-on-one meetings, networking, events, e-activity and other outreach strategies. Manager, ETO assumes the role of Oversight and Project Management during implementation of new business and other projects and oversees day-to-day operations of local ETO projects, monitoring department programs for cost and utilization, as well as prioritizing tasks.

This position is located at our office in Charleston, WV.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee work assignments
  • Provide feedback to Corporate Manager, ETO and other pertinent parties
  • Update workflows and other documents as necessary
  • Assist Corporate Manager, ETO and Program Directors to drive improvements in current process and procedures
  • Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of MTMs Policies and Workflows, including Service Management Portal (SMP)
  • Design and implement evaluative tools to measure program success
  • Research industry best practices and training techniques to incorporate in training plans
  • Develop quarterly training plans based on input from Corporate Manager, ETO and/or Program Manager
  • Collect and write ETO success stories
  • Establish contacts, build and maintain working relationships with stakeholder agencies, i.e. Major Medical Facilities, Area Offices on Aging, End Stage Renal Disease Networks and other stakeholder agencies that represent Member populations
  • Maintain an accurate contact list of stakeholders with key contact information
  • Coordinate with Care Management and Network Management Departments as necessary
  • Meet as often as necessary with other MTM departments to identify areas of opportunity
  • Conduct trainings as needed
  • Act as an expert resource and spokesperson for MTM
  • Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and evaluate operations, programs, processes and/or workflows for quality and effectiveness; make recommendations for improvement
  • Coordinate meetings between internal and external stakeholders
  • Track and record outreach activities with database and other tracking tools
  • Provide regular follow-up with outreach audiences to ensure they are equipped and trained on MTM processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years experience in Customer Service, Operations or Sales
  • 2+ years of Management experience
  • 2+ years experience in training others
  • 1+ year experience with training development and delivery for employees in a variety of environments (classroom, work from home, webinar, on demand and town hall/public forum)
  • Experience creating training content, presentations, assessments and satisfaction surveys
  • Experience in developing, delivering and implementing training strategies
  • Experience leading, coaching, and managing a team that is primarily remote
  • Experience creating and maintaining a budget
  • Experience and skill in conducting workplace investigations, analyzing information in relation to the relevant employment laws, collective bargaining agreements, trends, policies and procedures, and use sound judgment to draw valid conclusions and/or recommendations
  • Experience with negotiating, counseling, and conflict management
  • Experience using PowerPoint to create presentations
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Database and Internet proficiency
  • Background in community outreach, communications, public relations or related field preferred
  • Experience in public presentations and training preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, care management or a related field preferred
  • Contact Center and union experience, preferred
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Ability to type 30wpm
  • Detail oriented with the ability to meet competing deadlines
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision and maintaining multiple responsibilities
  • Reliable, regular and punctual attendance at work during core business hours
  • Proactive and creative techniques in solving Client problems
  • Possess a high level of initiative
  • Flexibility in work schedule
  • Ability to deal with people in a manner that demonstrates sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
