About You: You are a strong and seasoned Nurse leader who strives to exceed expectations and provide exceptional patient care. Can think critically about new processes and procedures that not only help the department grow but also assist the staff to provide exceptional, quality patient care

About the Hospital: This award-wining, not-for-profit, community, Critical Access Hospital with a large network of outpatient clinics that embraces Shared Governance.

About the Position: This is primarily an administrative position, but the Director should anticipate having to round and be hands on when needed. Oversees the OR, Pre-OP, PACU, Same Day Surgery and Sterile Processing. This position reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Department Stats:

• 4 OR suites and expected to be getting a 5th up and running soon.
• 1 ASC off campus
• 400+ ortho cases in 2022 so far.
• New DaVinci Robot with 4 arms (IX)

Salary: Competitive Salary DOE, Generous Benefits.

Requirements:

• BSN, required
• MSA, MSN or MHA,
• Current state RN License,
• 8+ years of Clinical Surgical Services experience in an acute care hospital,
• 5-6+ years of progressive management/supervisory experience
• BLS and ACLS,
• CNOR certification, strongly preferred.
• Able to be hands-on or visible in the department, as needed.
