Job Description
Export Coordinator and Customer Service

Our client is an expanding food ingredients manufacturer and needs to add a logistics coordinator to its Customer Service/Logistics Department. The company has operations and customers globally. This position will be joining a department that will offer advancement for the motivated person. The team has strong management and expertise in logistics and customer service so a lightly experienced person will find a welcome environment. This is an immediate position. Benefits, 401K and year end bonus available.
Responsibilities:
  • Reviews purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Responding to and following up on customer inquiries
  • Routing and monitoring shipments from Argentina to the US and other international locations
  • Keep shipping records up to date and accurate
  • Inventory management
Food Safety Management Systems Responsibilities:
  • Ensure procedures and protocols for customers and suppliers as related to food safety are followed.
  • Adhere to all GHS/DOT standards to assure hazmat materials are shipped correctly.
  • Adhere to all OSHA Regulations and compliance
Qualifications:
  • 1 – 3 years logistics or import/export experience
  • Highly organized, able to manage time effectively and multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
