Sr Director/Vice President, Human Resources Operations

In this newly created position, the Sr Director/Vice President, HR Operations will support the HR function and elevate the operational capacity of Human Resources for MRC. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Operations executive to create a function within our progressive, entrepreneurial HR team. This role is part of a growing and transforming HR team and is located in our headquarters in Beverly Hills.


In this role, the Sr Director/VP will drive operational excellence for the MRC Human Resource department.

  • HR Systems – identify and implement HR systems including ATS, performance management, systems of record, people systems etc and partner with IT.
  • Review and analyze organization trends and provide reports and metrics to key stakeholders and client groups.
  • Maintain and track department budget, partnering with finance and accounting
  • Provide regular analytics and reporting.
  • Conduct systems and operational audits.
  • Complete other projects as assigned.

  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, including HR operations, HR Analytics, or comparable area.
  • In-depth understanding of HR best practices and experience moving from strategy development to execution.
  • Experience with HR systems.
  • Experience with recruiting systems, Greenhouse a plus.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Strong people management skills, coaching and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly proficient in HR data & analytics, technology and infrastructure.
  • Understanding of current employment laws, regulations and all relative industry practices.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree a plus.
  • Entertainment/Media industry experience a plus.
