MRC Live and Alternative is seeking an organized and creative team member, to fill a primary role within the Brand Partnerships team. As a Sr Coordintor, Integrated Marketing & Creative Brand Strategy, you will help with branded content ideation across MRC Live and Alternative tentpole events and shows, and build strategic and impactful pitch decks alongside the sales, marketing, creative & production teams. This position reports to the Director of Brand Strategy, and is based out of our office in Beverly Hills.
MRC Live & Alternative is one of the largest global producers of live televised event programming. Tentpole live event series through its dick clark productions include the “Golden Globe Awards,” “Academy of Country Music Awards,” the “American Music Awards,” the “Billboard Music Awards,” “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest,” “Streamy Awards,” and 16-time Emmy Award-winning series “So You Think You Can Dance.
- Play a key role in creative brainstorming on specific client initiatives
- Translate complex ideas into easy-to-understand write-ups
- Glean relevant information from RFPs and client briefs
- Build and design pitch decks that tell a compelling story
- Maintain key organizational documents including project trackers
- Establish strong relationships with key employees across the business including account management, marketing & social, production, and more
- 2-4 years of experience in integrated marketing and creative brand strategy
- Experience building pitch decks from ideation to presentation
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative with an eye for design and storytelling
- Proficiency in Keynote is strongly preferred
- Basic Graphic design skills a plus
- Proficiency in Power Point
- Ability to prioritize & manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinker understanding both short and long term goals
- Experience in or Passion for entertainment - specifically music & live events

Projects includes: Edgar Wright’s debut documentary feature “Sparks Brothers” about the legendary American rock/ pop duo, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by Focus Features; “The Last Rider,” which chronicles the story of cyclist Greg LeMond, from acclaimed director Alex Holmes; and the “Untitled Sly Stone” project, which follows the story of groundbreaking artist Sly Stone, from director Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson.
MRC and PMC have formed a publishing joint venture and a strategic content partnership with brands The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Billboard, Rolling Stone, Vibe and Music Business Worldwide. MRC and PMC’s data venture brings together MRC Data, Alpha Data and Variety Business Intelligence. MRC owns a majority stake in Civic Center Media, A-Major Media and has minority investments in A24, Fulwell 73, Sugar23 and T-Street.
