Trinity Logistics/Agrisolutions- Key Account Specialist

Type: Full-Time

Location: Bettendorf, IA

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Office hours: Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

This position is responsible for managing the direct relationship between the Hardware/Trinity products and services team and all North American locations of our largest global OEM customer. The Key Account Specialist – Hardware is responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies. They plan to acquire new business for assigned solutions and services to meet or exceed annual sales goals and grow market share.

Job tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow the business relationship and partnership with our largest customer.
  • Formulate business strategies and plan to grow overall sales and market share.
  • Analyzes account requirements and develops account growth plans with the internal business development and engineering teams to grow the business.
  • Qualifies customer opportunities, engages the appropriate resources, and coordinates the solution to impact the customer’s decision process and presents solutions to the customer (value proposition).
  • Owns the account strategy within the assigned accounts and communicates to the internal Agrisolutions teams on an account by account basis when appropriate.
  • Takes ownership of total customer satisfaction for assigned products. Establishes and executes customer scorecard reviews with operations to ensure customer satisfaction improves and actions are being taken, as appropriate.
  • Established track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to North American sites for both internal sales meetings and external sales meetings at customer locations as needed.
  • Establishes, executive level relationships with the customer base and understands customer processes, drivers and business model.
  • Able to execute VOC (Voice of Customer) surveys/meetings and work the follow up actions post activity in order to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Manages all commercial aspects for assigned products in NA, including program quoting and negotiation, commercial warranty claims, commercial impacts to program scope changes, and all other commercial and pricing activities associated with the accounts.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and preferably 1-3 years of related experience in Industrial/Hardware Sales.
  • Background pertaining to manufacturing/industrial sales (internship, Co-op, or post graduate experience)
  • Established track record of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Experience working with all levels of an industrial/manufacturing company including VPs, plant engineers and OEM machine builders.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and all Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Goal oriented and self-motivated with ability to work independently, but within a team environment.
  • Background in manufacturing or industrial/hardware sales a plus.
  • Spanish, Italian or French as a second language desirable
  • Exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to North American sites for both internal sales meetings and external sales meetings at customer locations as needed.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter that possesses excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills.
  • Forecasting knowledge/experience a plus.
