As the Human Resources Director, you will...
- Be a leader for change
- Review and make recommendations to executive management for improvement of organizational policies and procedures regarding personnel concerns.
- Foster positive implementation of job responsibilities and demonstration of behaviors congruent with organizational values.
- Serve as Compliance Officer: responsible for the implementation of corporate compliance program, as related to regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and submits reports to the Board of Directors.
- Lead the HR function
- Oversee the employment processes including recruitment, candidate screening, interviewing, reference checking, employee selection and new hire orientation. Facilitate and support activities related to hiring and on-boarding contracted employees.
- Supervise HR and Reception Department employees
- Develop and monitor various metrics and analytics used to evaluate effectiveness of various HR programs and activities.
- Conduct compensation analysis and wage survey to determine competitive wages. Maintain HR budget development and benefits administration.
- Ensure that the organization maintains accurate records (electronic and paper) related to payroll information, demographic information, records of benefits and insurance coverage, pre-employment screening, performance management and evaluation documentation, employment status (promotions, transfers, leaves, and terminations), unemployment compensation, and workers' compensation.
- Ensure compliance with DHS 83 regulations related to personnel hiring and employment, employee records, and orientation and training.
- Manage and coordinates unemployment compensation, worker's compensation, employee leaves, etc.
- Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and handling of sensitive and confidential employee issues. Investigate complaints, accidents; report findings and suggest course of action or resolution. Maintain confidentiality of all employee files and information.
- Oversee professional development across the organization
- Plan and facilitate initial and annual training, and maintains documentation related to training.
- Administer Performance Management System including tracking, forms, timelines, reports, and follow up with managers.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as HR Leader
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- PHR or SHRM-CP desirable
- 5+ years of related human resources experience
- Senior living experience preferred

- Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented; ability to prioritize
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
- High-energy, self-starter with the ability to establish positive relationships and collaborate with other functions, staff and other professionals
- Ability to lead and direct others informally; ability to coordinate, or develop and lead, training for staff
