We are seeking a professional and organized HCM Implementation Project Manager to play a critical role in ensuring MP's client implementations run smoothly, accurately, and on time. As an HCM Implementation Project Manager at MP you will work directly with some of our largest clients to manage internal projects by coordinating and overseeing multiple project plans to completion.

This is a remote position and can be filled by an applicant located within or near one of our hub locations of: Boston, MA; Cincinnati, OH; or Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage full lifecycle implementation projects for MP's HCM products, from project initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to effectively manage project deliverables and milestones.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their HCM requirements, business processes, and goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in sales, HR services, tax, and operations to ensure the project plan remains on target and client's needs are addressed. Proactively reach out internally as questions or issues arise to problem solve, provide solutions, and find a quick resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates, addressing questions and concerns, and managing expectations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and presentations with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, track key metrics, and provide timely reports to stakeholders, highlighting project status, risks, and accomplishments.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future projects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in HCM and Payroll software implementation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Project Manager, HCM software implementation experience is preferred.
  • Experience with project software systems including Salesforce, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Project, a plus.
  • Experience managing end-to-end implementation projects, including project planning, scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and change control.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams toward project success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate complex project challenges and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of HR and Payroll regulations, compliance, and data privacy requirements is a plus.
