Site of Service.
Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA (NMCP). The primary site of service shall be located in the Labor and Delivery Unit, NMCP.
Must possess a Basic Life Support card from the American Heart Association
Must possess and maintain Basic Fetal Heart Monitoring certification from the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).
Must possess and maintain certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Must possess and maintain certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Must possess and maintain a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in any one (1) of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Must possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, a Graduate Diploma in Nursing,
An Associate Degree in Nursing, from an accredited agency such as the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience as an RN working in an inpatient intrapartum (Labor and Delivery) setting within the last two (2) years
