Veterinary Exam Room Advocate (ERA)

We are focused on making sure our hospital has the right tools to allow our doctors and medical staff the ability to provide excellent service and care.  Applicants must have a strong work ethic, preserve a positive personality, capable of communicating effectively, be able to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment, can work in harmony with a team, possess a well-rounded technical skill set and have a passion for delivering exceptional care to patients as well as clients.  Duties will include, but may not be limited to, assisting in medical treatment and procedures under the supervision and direction of the attending Veterinarian, keeping accurate medical records, client education, promotion of hospital products and services and support of the Doctors and other team members.

Applicants should b able to prioritize and plan work activities; be a problem solver; have excellent oral and written communication; and be adaptable to changes in the work environment, delays, or unexpected events.

Prerequisites include a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years customer service experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a veterinary setting.  It is preferred that the ideal candidate have a strong veterinary technical background as well.
