Full Time/part-time: 40 to 80 per work period

We have been engaged by one of our client in the Oregon region to recruit a Chief Medical Information Officer. The CMIO's primary focus will be hospital inpatient, ambulatory and ancillary services, but will include significant coordination with local clinics and affiliated entities. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES

• Graduate from an accredited school of medicine
• Current Oregon physician license
• Master's degree in a health-related field, business, informatics, or IT preferred
• Certification in clinical informatics or related certification
• Epic Training to at least level of Physician Provider Builder

EXPERIENCE

• Five (5) or more years' of experience in medical practice
• At least three years of experience with EPIC
• Experience in clinical outcomes and quality management
• Experience in routine use of clinical information systems for patient care
• Successful experience with implementation of healthcare applications
• Desired: EHR implementation & optimization experience
• Experience in providing clinical education and project management in clinical information systems desired
• Prior experience in an informatics leadership position preferred
