The Account Manager Trainee manages relationships with existing clients. The position is responsible for managing client relationships, developing long-term account strategies, and meeting client needs immediately. As an Account Manager Trainee you are responsible for identifying upsell and expansion opportunities, incorporating them into the annual strategic plan, and maintaining customer relationships. As a junior Account Executive, you should be able to build strong relationships with your clients and deliver results in a fast-paced environment, as well as have a passion for serving your clients.

Responsibilities
Manage and strengthen client relationships and ensure satisfaction levels are met.
Responsible for client renewals, up sells and expansions and for meeting client retention targets.
Work with consultants as required.
Accountable for development of client-specific strategic plan, and ongoing monitoring of plan with adjustments made as
necessary.
Delivery of annual review of plan performance with client.
Serve as account strategist for assigned accounts both internally and externally.
Determine opportunities for up sells, expansions and maximizing opportunities for revenue growth.
Interface directly with assigned clients and groups on a quarterly basis or more frequently as needed.
Serves as the face of client with ongoing communication to the client as necessary to maintain and grow
relationship thereby, ensuring client retention.
Direct activities of internal Account Management team and extended team members as related to client strategic
objectives and escalated service issues.
Special projects and tasks forces as assigned.

Requirements
College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum
educational requirement of an H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent
Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to negotiate, lead others, organize, analyze and interpret information.
Ability to travel as needed to meet goals.
