METER Group, Inc. USA is seeking a Professional Services Specialist III for its Food Division. The successful candidate will have the emotional intelligence to provide excellent customer service to clients and work with internal partners.

This individual will provide clients with an excellent customer experience from the initial post-sale conversation through the complete lifecycle of the product. As a level III specialist an expert level of IT Infrastructure and network integration and troubleshooting is required.Professional Services Specialists are trained on a variety of scientific instruments used in food production and safety. This training is used to provide detailed and process-oriented assistance and troubleshooting to customers.

The right candidate will have a personality for connecting with clients and understanding their needs through communication techniques that connect with clients at all levels. A background in process control engineering in the food industry is... preferred for this position.METER's headquarters is located in Eastern Washington with an unmatched quality of life.

This is a remote position working in the PST zone with close access to a major airport required.Responsibilities* Investigate and resolve IoT IT infrastructure and networking issues that impact the performance of edge nodes and other connected devices.* Understand AWS, Cloud flare, DNS, IPV4/IPV6, and other complex networking strategies that make hardware, firmware, and software function at a high level to deliver no downtime to clients.* Be a collaborative team member with a strong salesmanship mindset for vertical growth opportunities.* Be an expert level trainer both virtually and in person.* Capable of remote troubleshooting of problems and ability to review log files to generate root cause analysis for review at the team level as well as report at the cross functional level with SW, FW, HW, and other stakeholders.* Ability to manage client accounts for onboarding and ongoing support.* Demonstrate expert level client support and remain calm, empathetic, and resolution driven to quickly resolve issues.* Ability to document bugs and maintain metrics of support cases.* Strong understanding of PLC networks and connection to PLC for data integration into METER SW systems.Minimum Qualifications* BS degree in chemical engineering, process control engineering, industry engineering or relevant field.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in an iIot environment.* Expert in SaaS onboarding and system installation.* Travel up to 60%. Including irregular shift times, evenings, and some weekends.* Ability to provide excellent customer service with minimal oversight.* A growth mindset with a passion for metrics and data driven decision making.Preferred Qualifications* Prior food/industrial engineering experience.* Experience with complex Saas integration with scientific hardware components* Proven IT Infrastructure and networking expertise.* Programming experience for PLC networking.To Apply for This Position:We ask all applicants to apply through our website at
