Nurse Practitioner (NP) for Naval Branch Health Clinic, Groton, CT

Primary Care Clinic, Outpatient Ambulatory Care
  • Full-time, Civilian Contractor
  • Can be licensed in any state

Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care to Tricare Prime beneficiaries, Active Duty members for services including, but not limited to:
  • Active Duty Physical Exams
  • Contraceptive counseling and prescription
  • Health Promotion
  • Mammography referral
  • Minor Biopsies
  • Preventive services
  • Referral services for patients requiring specialist evaluation
  • Routine and same-day/acute care
  • Routine follow-up of stable, uncomplicated, chronic illness


Degree: Advanced Practice Degree from a school accredited by NLN, ACEN or CCNE

Certification: Must be Board Certified ANCC or AANP

Additional Certification: Must be willing to obtain and maintain Radiation Health Indoctrine Certification and will assist with the performance of radiation health and special duty physicals

Experience: Have a minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory setting within the preceding two (2) years.

License: Must have a current, unrestricted license to practice in any state.

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen to work on a military base
