On U.S. bank holidays (generally, 8:45am-10:30am, 12pm-1pm and 4pm - 5pm), monitor OFAC hits on SWIFT messages on-or-off site. Christmas Day is included. New Year\u2019s Day is excluded.

 

Job Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

 

BSA/AML/OFAC:

Responsibilities may include after appropriate training.

  1. Monitors Watchlist (including OFAC) hits on SWIFT messages on-or-off site. (real-time basis).
  2. Conducts necessary searches as required by OFAC/FinCEN and other related regulations including FinCEN 314(a).
  3. Prepares a complete and accurate set of BSA/AML daily and periodic monitoring reports and conduct initial analysis for the BSACO\u2019s review.

  1. Monitors transaction activities within each customer\u2019s account(s) and compares that activity against the customer\u2019s existing BSA/AML profile using the Bank\u2019s transaction monitoring system (TMS).
  2. Conducts Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) searches for customers for BSACO\u2019s review.
  3. Works with relevant departments to prepare and update the Bank\u2019s form of Customer Profiles and Regulatory Compliance Checklist (CP/RCC) and BSA Risk Matrices.
  4. Determines the accuracy of the existing CP/RCC including customer due diligence documents (Wolfsberg CBDDQ/FCCQ forms, AML Questionnaires, USA PATRIOT Act certificates, etc.).  Also respond to inquiries regarding such due diligence documents.
  5. Acts as the first backup to the BSACO upon his/her absence.
  6. Act as the first backup to the OFAC Responsible Officer upon his/her absence.
  7. Participates and contributes as user in IT-related projects for BSA/AML/OFAC compliance purposes.
  8. Attends outside seminars/webinars for BSA/AML/OFAC.

 

Corporate Compliance:

  1. Acts as the Secretary of quarterly management-level General Compliance Meetings including preparation of the Meeting Minutes/materials.
  2. Assists the RCD Manager to perform annual corporate compliance risk assessment.
  3. Conducts corporate compliance testing based on the annual testing plan and report the results in periodic General Compliance Meetings.
  4. Reviews designated RCD procedures at least annually.
  5. Analyzes internal compliance-related reports and reports the results to management in periodic General Compliance Meetings.
  6. Coordinate with Legal and RCD members to arranges bank-wide compliance seminars (live, online and certain targeted seminars) and new-hire training.
  7. Assists RCD Manager for preparation of other periodic compliance-related meetings.
  8. Participates as business user in IT-related projects for corporate compliance purposes.
  9. Conducts checks and/or monitoring for Anti-Bribery & Corruption and the FDIC Notification for service providers.  (Ad-hoc)
  10. Perform semi-annual Personal Trading monitoring (quarterly) and Third-Party Payment review (semi-annually).
  11. Attends internal and outside seminars/webinars for Corporate Compliance.

 

Other General Responsibilities:

  1. Assist RCD member(s) for the Bank\u2019s monthly Working Group Meetings based on the Policy on Enhanced Review of New and Proposed Legal and Regulatory Requirements including preparation of the Meeting Minutes/materials.
  2. Participates and assists FATCA Working Group. (Ad-hoc).
  3. Consistent with the requirement that the compliance function is independent from management, performs all duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
  4. Improves database and filing methods for RCD.
  5. Provides high quality work by ensuring accuracy and seeking to continuously improve our processes and platforms by embracing new and better ways of doing things.

 

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of SWIFT and payment system.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the Bank\u2019s business and customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to generate accurate reports.
  • Excellent communication in both oral and writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organize compliance meetings including the preparation of minutes/materials.
  • Ability to perform multi-tasks with excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Word, Excel, Internet).
