Senior Manager, Data Analytics

MDG has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Data Analytics who will work alongside the Analytics, Media, Digital Technology and Client Services teams to develop actionable intelligence and insights for clients and the agency.
Work with internal stakeholders to understand data sources, processes and KPIs, and build dashboard and tools to help teams effectively track these measures
Help identify KPIs and calculate metrics, including CPM, CPC, CPE, CPA, ROI, etc.
Develop intuitive, scalable dashboards, reports and analyses to track performance and aid in planning and decision-making
Analyze complex data sets and transform raw data into actionable insights that ensure marketing efforts are effectively driving awareness, conversion, growth and revenue
Identify, measure and track customer acquisition cost and ROI utilizing a variety of methods, including performing match backs
Utilize warehousing, ETL and visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, PowerBI, Tableau, Domo, etc., to build and maintain efficient and scalable processes
Gather and analyze data for target profiling and segmentation
Proactively monitor dashboards to identify trends and suggest optimizations to marketing efforts
Present the summary and interpretation of marketing data, including campaign and web analytics, and provide insight and recommendations to marketing teams and clients
Assist with campaign tagging and tracking implementation as well as ongoing management and maintenance leveraging Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and other digital marketing platforms
Assist it developing insights relating to the customer and attribution modeling
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by leadership
6+ years hands-on experience in marketing data analytics or similar field
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math or another relevant field
Extensive experience managing large datasets in different formats such as Excel, Access, SQL database, online sources, data warehouses, etc.
Experience with business intelligence, ETL and data visualization platforms such as Google Data Studio (required), PowerBI, Tableau, Domo, etc.
Advanced Excel power user
Ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner to a non-technical audience, and operate in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
Experience with digital marketing data sources and tools such as Google Analytics (required), Google Ads, Google Tag Manager (required), Facebook, Yelp, Waze, CallRail, Marchex, Zapier, etc.
