Summary:
The Forensic Accountant will prepare economic damage quantification resulting from causes of loss. The Forensic Accountant will also handle new and existing assignments. In this role you must gain an understanding of the insured’s operations and financials in order to prepare an analysis of the insured’s economic loss. Also, the position will require you to assist Adjusters by organizing and tracking estimates and invoices relating to property damage, extra expenses and any other costs associated with the claims process.
Responsibilities:
- Perform targeted analysis of data, under the guidance of managers
- Review documents to identify items relevant to investigation
- Compile and analyze facts to formulate, substantiate and/or critique financial calculations, theories, claims, or conclusions
- Maintain integrity of corporate information
- Balance multiple projects and responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with various levels of management
- Must be able to prepare and present damage analysis and findings in report format
- Assist Adjusters by organizing and tracking estimates and invoices relating to property damage, extra expenses and any other costs associated with the claims process
- Gain an understanding of the insured’s operations and financials in order to prepare an analysis of the insured’s economic loss
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3+ years of experience with accounting; Certified Public Accountant preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to prepare and present damage analysis and findings in report format

- Public Accounting
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be flexible with the travel requirements – required for select assignments
- Possess strong technical, analytical and communication skills
- Judgement and problem-solving skills
