Family Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to work in a growing outpatient practice located in Rocky Mount, NC. Our ideal provider will be enthusiastic about their patient's health. The patients seen per day is a mix age patient panel. This is a full-time opportunity to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Nurse Practitioner-Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of patient care in their area of specialty through the process of assessment; evaluation; diagnosing; recognition and prevention of adverse events; planning; and implementation.

Performs responsibilities in four areas of practice: clinician, teacher, leadership, and professional development.

Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure safe; effective and efficient patient care delivery; and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Continuously monitors quality patient care through excellence in

customer service and performance improvement that demonstrate positive outcomes

in patient care.

Provides leadership in the practice location.

Provides treatment for less urgent acute conditions as well as manages chronic conditions and provides care coordination.

Nurse Practitioner-Requirements

Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner program required

State of North Carolina Licensure Requirement

Experience in Primary Care strongly preferred
