HR Generalist/Bookkeeper

HR Generalist/Bookkeeper paying up to $60K for a stable and growing company in the Boca Raton area. This position will be responsible for all of the HR including employee relations, payroll, benefits, on-boarding, etc. This position will also be responsible for day-to-day accounting for the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Address employee concerns - main point of contact for all employees regarding any HR related inquiries
  • Employee on-boarding, new hire paperwork and orientation
  • Benefits administration
  • Review timesheets and process payroll
  • Process workers' compensation claims and follow-up
  • Maintain employee records
  • Handle the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Process and submit invoices
  • Resolve any billing discrepancies
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of general HR experience (including benefits, payroll, worker’s comp, employee relations, etc.)
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office
