Purpose of the Job
Responsible for managing all daily processes within the branch, by means of strong account management, contract management, people management, and through operational excellence, in compliance with applicable internal standards, procedures, systems, and local legislation in order to realize the branch objectives in line with the agreed commercial requirements, planning and budget.
Account Management – Initiate and maintain relationships with current and potential customers; monitor the developments, coordinate processes and act as a business partner in line with the contract, standards, and customer requirements.
People Management – Manage, motivate and support the development of both office and field employees, with the provided management tools, and HR standards.
SHE-Q – Ensure execution of all work is in compliance with SHE-Q standards and procedures, and lead by example in regard to safety awareness.
Branch Plan & Budget - Formulate, implement and monitor annual planning for the branch, in line with local strategy, budget, and acquire approval.
Operations – Manage and direct operations in line with the Branch Planning and agreed contracts.
Contract Management – Assess and study the agreed contract of both customers and (sub)contractors.
Reporting – Provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad-hoc reports and analyses in line with the reporting requirements.
Administration - Manage, coordinate, maintain and or improve administrative activities and systems in line with internal requirements.
Typical Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 12 years of deep and broad relevant work experience
- Diverse Millrighting, Rigging, and Construction industry experience is highly desired
- Working relationships with existing clients.
- Union and Collective Bargaining experience highly preferred
