Pharmacy Technician - PM Shift

The MAC Rx Pharmacy Fulfillment department is seeking to fill the role of LTC Pharmacy Technician. If you are an energetic team player, like to problem-solve and are able to think on your feet, please consider joining our team! We are recruiting for the PM shift.

The job duties include:

-Assist the pharmacist in pulling and filling medications (including controlled medications)

-Toting medications, printing manifest and setup of boxes for delivery of medication

-Fill Emergency Dispensing Kit replenishment

-Assist the pharmacist with PV2 override

-Assist with missing labels and backorders

-Routinely pull expired drugs from shelves

The successful candidate will hold the following qualifications:

-Licensed Illinois Pharmacy Technician (required)

-2 years of pharmacy experience

-Long term care pharmacy experience (preferred)

-Problem solver

-Ability to operate computers and general office machinery (any specific training will be provided)

-Ability to work rotating schedule 

-Must be able to sit and/or stand, bend, stoop, reach for up to 10 hours per day.

-Must be able to lift between 10 and 25 pounds occasionally.
