Job Description

This is a remote position.


The role may function as a traditional technical project manager and/or a Scrum Master within Global Technology’s Infrastructure Global Workplace Services organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of successful project and program management and will have a bias to relentlessly push to understand customer needs, balance user value with business value, and continually partner and deliver in a complex and fast-paced environment.

As a technical project manager, responsible for developing prioritization processes, communications, and managing team level impediments for Global Workplace Services projects. Manages risks and issues and drive continuous improvement throughout project lifecycles.

As a Scrum Master, will guide and facilitate teams through ceremonies, events, and meetings within the Agile team framework and help to drive the implementation and adoption of Agile best practices.


• Plans projects, including requirements, cost, schedule, and deliverables to meet business need.
• Identifies project milestones and required tasks.
• Manages project risk and budget.
• Tracks project performance and escalates/provides early warning of risks to the project
• Formulates risk mitigation plans.
• Directs and coordinates activities of project team
• Informs the appropriate stakeholders of project status and issues
• Interfaces with vendor(s) for programs under direct control
• Creates, modifies, publishes and leverages standardized Metrics to facilitate continuous improvement
• Facilitates daily stand-up meetings.
• Escalates and assists in the resolution of impediments.
• Facilitates release planning events for assigned Scrum Teams.

• Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
• Promotes the documenting of project progress accurately.
• Provides input and assistance to other teams regarding projects.

Managing Work, Projects, and Policies

• Manages and implements work and projects as assigned.
• Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
• Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Provides timely, accurate, and detailed status reports as requested.

Demonstrating and Applying Discipline Knowledge

• Provides technical expertise and support to persons inside and outside of the department.
• Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
• Demonstrates knowledge of function-specific procedures.
• Keeps up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to job.
• Uses computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data and/ or process information.

Delivering on the Needs of Key Stakeholders

• Understands and meets the needs of key stakeholders.
• Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
• Determines priorities, schedules, plans and necessary resources to ensure completion of any projects on schedule.
• Collaborates with internal partners and stakeholders to support business/initiative strategies
• Communicates concepts in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand.
• Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
• Demonstrates an understanding of business priorities

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
• 7+ years of Information Technology experience in an infrastructure setting
• 5+ years of formal Project Management experience ($500K+) in a highly complex, large-scale environment
• Project Management Certification
• SAFe certification or Scrum Master certification

Desired Infrastructure Experience

• Global enterprise infrastructure deployments 100K+ users

Other Desired Skills and Attributes

• 2+ year’s direct technical experience within at least one the following areas:
o Cloud technologies
o Service Now technologies
o End-user technologies
o Information Security
• 7+ years’ Agile experience
• Extremely high level of analytical ability to resolve complex and difficult issues.
• Ability to drive projects such that deadlines and budget commitments are met
• Very high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output in a team environment.
• Experience with business process re-engineering and agile implementations
• Strong financial acumen
• Strong process management, negotiating, influencing, and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate the lifecycle of technologies and applications and to translate into business strategies for the client organizations.
• Ability to accomplish results through others, particularly by establishing relationships, effective controls and partnering in a managed service environment.
• Be available to work outside of the traditional hours and days to facilitate project events when required.
• Skilled in conceptualizing creative solutions, documenting them, and presenting/selling them to senior management
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
