Our leading CDMO, Cell & Gene Therapy Client is seeking a Manager, Marketing for their Allendale, NJ office. This position reports to the Senior Director, Business Development, and operating in a matrixed environment, with responsibility to Business Development, Sales and other functions, internal customers, and external customers. The Manager, Marketing primarily provides supports for the Sales Marketing and Industry Intelligence & Market Insights functions, with some support of the Brand Management, Messaging, and Communications functions. Growth opportunities are available due to ongoing global and domestic expansion of the enterprise. The Senior Director, Business Development provides oversight, guidance and development opportunities for the position. The Marketing Manager will coordinate and develop marketing policies, programs, and campaigns.
- Marketing Support
- Create the Marketing Strategy Plan
- Define all promotion activities for the Brand recognition and the Services being promoted.
- Create digital marketing strategy for addressing the needs of internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Human Resources, Innovation & Engineering and others as needed, aligning with that team as needed.
- Measure results of digital marketing initiatives and analyze the data to inform strategic and tactical planning
- Create and execute digital marketing promotion plan and execution, including social media posts via company channels, digital advertising, email marketing, and company blog.
- Coordinate efforts around in-person and virtual conference exhibitions with marketing colleagues responsible for conference marketing.
- Generate customer leads through digital channels.
- Coordinate global digital marketing across corporate regions.
- Review current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and developing solutions within budget constraints.
- Partner with product development and buying teams to estimate product demand.
- Industry Intelligence Research
- Support competitor research, customer, and market research.
- Support Business Development team through the use of professional database.
- Gather and analyze information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Conducts market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of products.
- Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership.
- Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- BS or BA in Marketing, Business or related field required; Masters' degree preferred.
- Cell therapy or regenerative medicine experience, while not required, is desirable.
- 3+ years of Digital marketing experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, graphic design program(s), Hubspot CMS or comparable CMS, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube.
- Experience participating in health authority inspections and/or client audits preferred.
- Ability to create and drive marketing strategies and tactical plans in a service environment.
- Ability to drive new business through direct or indirect contact with prospects.
