Lyneer Staffing is seeking a Dispatch Customer Service Clerk that can effectively communicate back and forth with Drivers to assist with problem resolution while on the route.
Handles incoming service orders, directs drivers, and resolves service issues.
Interacts with customers, including customer service, sales, and operational staff (i.e. Route Managers, Mechanics, etc.).
Uses software to enter ticket information and track activity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.:
Works with routing specialists, route managers, and the service department to optimize routes
Dispatches drivers to calls as they are received, using the information on customer needs, and drivers' locations and loads
Initiates outbound calls to customers while drivers are on-site/location, resolving pick-up and other issues
Records and documents information from Drivers and distributes to appropriate departments
Minimum of 6 months of related work experience
Excel is a must (assessment will need to be done)
