Certified Medical Assistant - Urology - Wilmingon, DE

Our client in the Wilmington, DE area has an immediate opening for a Certified Medical Assistant. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments and travel to different patient homes in the area. Our client is open to candidates available on a temporary to permanent basis. Seeking someone with clinical experience and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative and clinical duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Write out prescriptions for physical therapy, tests, etc.
- Prepare patient charts
- Prepare rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize & clean instruments
- Take inventory of medical materials and supplies
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Must have at least 1 year of medical assisting experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be certified as a Medical Assistant
- Phlebotomy experience a plus
