The Inside Sales Acquisition Specialist’s primary responsibility is to process sales leads for preparation and submission to the sales department for approval while effectively communicating with involved parties such as Loan Originators, Underwriters, borrowers, and real estate brokers. This position requires attention to detail, a high degree of organization, adeptness at meeting deadlines, and the ability to prioritize tasks, teamwork and effective communication skills.
Maintain a high level of customer service by being proactive in communicating with borrowers, Loan Originators, and other internal team members.
Serve as the initial point of contact for internally sourced sales leads.
Provide borrowers with timely and periodic status updates.
Review loan application to verify the completeness of data and ensure the loan meets the established standards of company program guidelines and procedures.
Gather, analyze, and validate all documents required for loan approval and submit to Sales team.
Process loans and accurately input loan information into the company’s Loan Origination System.
Provide feedback to Loan Officers to ensure consistent follow-up regarding pre-approvals and/or full files.
Assist in meeting key Operations metrics, including customer service levels, quality of loans and expected turn-times.
Request and gather loan conditions from appropriate parties.
Ensure benchmarks, productivity standards, and service levels are delivered.
Participate in special projects or assist other functional areas as directed by VP and/or other Sr. Management.
Duties as set forth in the company’s policies and procedures.
High school diploma required; college degree preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Thorough understanding of creditworthiness and an ability to review financial documents
Strong commitment to teamwork
Desire to grow your career in a fast-paced environment
Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator a plus
Call center experience
Specific local market experience/knowledge a plus
Experience in any of the following specialties is considered a plus: corporate affinity, jumbo loans, private banking residential lending, lower to moderate income borrowers and, first time homebuyers
Experience serving bilingual clients
A Business degree or related experience
