Machinist | Manufacturing | Direct Hire

Do you have Machinist experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting? Luttrell Staffing Group in Johnson city is currently recruiting for Machinist | Manufacturing | Direct Hire positions!

Pay: $16/hr

Schedule: Must be able to work 10 hours plus per shift, work overtime as required and be able to work on weekends as required. 

Duties for Machinist | Manufacturing | Direct Hire positions:

• Set up and operation of various machinery and shop equipment (CNC machinery, lathes, mills, presses, micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators)
• Advanced data collection / routine paperwork
• Fabrication of precision-machined parts
• Troubleshooting processes and reporting feedback
• Performing routine maintenance

Machinist | Manufacturing | Direct Hire qualifications:

• High school diploma / GED required
• At least 1 years of CNC Machinist experience required
• Associate’s Degree in related field (industrial/manufacturing) preferred
• Preferred 1 year of related experience (or equivalent combination of education / experience)
• Must possess working knowledge and be able to perform in-process inspection of finished parts utilizing appropriate inspection and gaging equipment
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs
