Our Services for People with Disabilities team is searching for a dedicated, energetic, good communicator to work as a full-time Recruitment Specialist in our Host Homes program. Our Host Home Program serves people state-wide so location would be preferred to be centrally located as in Des Moines, Ames or Waterloo; as travel is needed for this position. However, with state-wide presence, can be flexible for the right candidate.

Our Services for People with Disabilities wrap care around individuals across the state, from providing occasional respite care or weekly services, to 24/7 support in either a shared apartment environment or one-on-one care through our Host Homes program. You can make a direct impact on the lives of the Iowans we are privileged to serve.
What You'll Do
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for the recruitment of Host Homes Independent Providers, for community engagement and the promotion of the Host Homes program statewide. The Specialist projects a positive image of the agency to potential and current stakeholders/providers to promote LSI as a company of choice. The Recruitment Specialist provides proactive analysis of recruiting issues and development of an effective recruiting strategy. This position represents LSI at college campus events, job fairs, trade shows, conferences and any networking opportunities available to promote the Host Homes Program. This position also provides assistance with recruitment and marketing opportunities and initiatives. The Specialist partners with HR, regional program coordinators, and the Statewide Manager to ensure that regional recruitment and marketing needs are met. This position will require travel throughout the state. This position does have some work from home flexibility as well.
What You'll Need
Qualified applicants must have a High School Diploma, plus one year of marketing/recruitment experience.
Preferred applicants will have Associates Degree in related field. Experience with sales is a plus.
This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record, and the ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, the Sex Offender registry, and the criminal history check.
