However, payments in the creator economy are a huge pain because of - vendor / payable process, tax compliance cia W9, W8, 1099 and accounting reconciliations - and existing solutions do not address these pain points as they treat individual creators as vendors.
Lumanu is a vertically integrated platform that helps businesses and creators to resolve pain points related to payouts and compliance, including embedded financing for easy cash flow. Lumanu builds technology that makes doing business in the creator economy easy, collaborative, and fun. For creators - it takes the hassle out of the hustle by empowering them with easy tools to "get paid". For businesses - it allows them to work with creators, freelancers globally while handling payouts, compliance, vendor onboarding and accounting flows; without disrupting their current workflow.
About The Role
As a Solutions Engineer, you'll leverage your product and technical expertise to support both existing and prospective customers as they evaluate Lumanu Payouts as a solution for their organization. Partnering closely with our sales and product teams, gather key requirements, speak to our platform capabilities, and advise decision makers on how Lumanu can be configured to support their business needs; including using no-code, automated workflows (e.g using Airtable, etc.to support their current workflow and embed Lumanu payments)

About The Role
As a Solutions Engineer, you'll leverage your product and technical expertise to support both existing and prospective customers as they evaluate Lumanu Payouts as a solution for their organization. What You'll Do
- Partner with sales team to identify, qualify and pursue new revenue opportunities from new and existing customers
- Build relationships with and serve as trusted advisor to a prospect or customer's technical teams
- Build and demonstrate custom prototypes that allow prospects to understand and evaluate Lumanu's capabilities within the context of their own data, technical requirements, team workflows, and business process needs
- Speak to Lumanu's platform and integration capabilities, and any solution strategies that may be required to successfully implement them
- Support multiple deals simultaneously, proactively communicating with stakeholders to ensure on-time solution delivery
- Develop processes and workflows that allow us to scale our solutions
- Identify and share our most valuable use cases and user stories to our product team inform roadmap and market potential
- Work closely with our engineering team as we continue to build our Payments API
- You have 4+ years of experience in a sales engineering or solution consulting role in a SaaS environment, ideally (but not necessary) in the payments or fintech space
- You demonstrate excellent communication skills, and are equally comfortable presenting to individual contributor stakeholders and leadership decision makers
- You can collaborate effectively with of technical and non-technical individuals to crystalize business problems arrive at solutions
- You have a history of managing multiple assignments simultaneously, can work independently to drive projects to completion with a high level of attention to detail
- You have a keen technical mind and demonstrate a deep understanding of enterprise integration methodologies, best practices and API architecture
- You have a quantitative background -- either a degree in quantitative field or relevant professional experience
- Being comfortable with tools such as Airtable, Zapier, GSheets
- Bonus points for being good at SQL
