CLINICAL PHARMACIST
SITE OF SERVICE:
+ Naval Health Clinic Hawaii
+ Services shall be provided at the Headquarters (HQ), NHCH Branch Health Clinic (BHC) Makalapa, BHC Kaneohe Bay HI, or associated BHCs/Annexes within a 40-mile radius of the NHCH
POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:
+ Degree/Education:
+ Possess either a Baccalaureate Degree in Pharmacy from a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
OR
+ Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) from a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
+ Residency/Experience:
+ Be a graduate certificate within the preceding year from an accredited pharmacy residency program;
OR
+ Possess a minimum of 12 months of experience within the preceding 18 months as a Clinical Pharmacist performing direct patient care clinical activities in an inpatient, outpatient, or ambulatory care pharmacy setting
OR
+ Have held clinical privileges as a Clinical Pharmacist within the preceding 36 months in a military treatment facility.
+ Licensure : Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist.
+ Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) hands on course through American Heart Association
+ U.S. Citizenship: Individuals performing under this contract shall be U.S. citizens.
+ English Language Requirement: The Contractor shall ensure that all HCWs providing services under this contract are able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.
+ Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required.
HOURS:
+ Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0600 and 1800.
+ Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5 to 9 hour period, to include an uncompensated 30 to 60 minute lunch break, respectively.
+ In no instance will the individual be required to provide services in excess of 80 hours per two-week period.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects. Flexible and able to work with various personalities. Team work skills required. Time management skills required. The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential. High level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
