As a key member of our rapidly growing organization, the Sales Support Associate ultimately acts as the face of our company by delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships. He or she will assist with sales, marketing and customer service projects. The associate will create new leads in both retail and foodservice channels, build and maintain healthy relationships with key account contacts, and maximize revenue in existing accounts.
Collects, inputs, and submits customer orders. Familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
Function as a primary customer contact and relationship manager for assigned accounts.
Manage relationships with assigned accounts to maximize and realize sales potential.
Respond in a timely manner to all opportunities to present new and existing product lines to customers.
Prepare sales presentations for current and new customers, as well as, quarterly presentations for our internal sales team.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and emails.
Qualified applicants should possess:
One to two years of related experience in food sales or a food manufacturing customer service role
High energy and enthusiastic
Candidates must live in the assigned geographic sales area
Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and initiatives
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Self-starter. Must ask questions and learn new skills quickly on the job
Driven, team player that is motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful outcomes across activates
Ability to work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds in a fast-paced working environment
College Degree required
