Job Description Summary

The IT Support Analyst I will report to the Director, IT Infrastructure and Applications. This role requires the person to be onsite, Monday through Friday 9 AM - 5 PM.


Responsibilities

How You Will Contribute

  • Ability to provide weekly reports from Active Directory - Onboarding/Offboarding/Role Changes
  • Familiar with network and network troubleshooting for end users
  • Good understanding of the following:
    • Microsoft Office 365 user and account management
    • Azure AD account management
    • Slack user management
    • Zoom user management
    • Adobe user management
    • Jira ITSM ticket and project management
    • ServiceNow ticket management
  • Cloud Storage Platform (Egnyte, Box, DropBox, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of ITIL
  • Familiar with SOX, GxP, and IT compliances
  • Familiar with Change Requests in IT
  • Familiar with NGAV End-point protection and security (Carbon Black, Sophos, FireEye, etc.)
  • Ability to work off-hours in the event of projects and emergencies (including the weekends)
  • Good understanding of inventory and asset management
  • Good communication skills is a must
  • Willing to visit remote sites
  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to navigate quickly in technically prioritized events
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of management
  • Ability to thoroughly explain technical terms
  • Ability to go above and beyond to provide customer service
  • Ability to learn new technologies
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring

  • Experience with Windows and Mac computers provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Experience with trouble shooting Level I and II issues on Windows and Mac computers
  • Experience with Active Directory and Okta administration is a must
  • Experience collaborating with HR and Finance departments to actively update Directory Services Database
  • Experience working with a Managed Services Provider
  • Experience with escalations to the next tier - Hardware, Software, Cloud Applications, etc.
  • Experience collaborating with different IT departments
  • Experience with procurement of peripherals
  • Experience drafting and publishing Knowledge Base articles for end users
  • Experience with VIP Support onsite and remote

Education

Experience and Expertise

  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology or any related field.
  • 2-5 years of progressive work experience in a Life Sciences industry company (e.g., medical device, biotech, pharmaceutical, or genomics)
