Lucidity Lights, Inc., a manufacturer, and distributor of lighting products headquartered in Boston, MA, has an exciting opportunity for a highly productive Content Copywriter and to work side-by-side with a small but mighty Marketing and Creative team.

Primary tasks for this role include the production of written-content for digital and print channels, including but not limited to: online retailers and social media, digital advertising, packaging, brochures, and retail displays. Must be savvy at copywriting across channels and mediums, have a passion for brand, a keen eye for copy-editing, and a knack for organization as you’ll be expected to manage multiple priorities and timelines. Our ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of best-practices for SEO, and writing for eCommerce sites.

This role reports into the Creative Director and is part of a high-functioning, cross-brand Marketing team. Collaboration will be key as you’ll also be partnering closely with Sales and Product Development teams.

 Core Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality copy, brand, and product-messaging for online retailers and social media channels, following established brand guidelines and best-practices.
  • Produce high-quality copy, brand, and product-messaging for packaging, in-store displays, sales meetings, tradeshows, and corporate collateral.
  • Research and make recommendations related to SEO, driving increased traffic to products and websites
  • Efficiently copy-edit existing copy, search terms, SEO descriptions, presentations, and more for appropriate brand-voice.
  • Manage all associated copy assets, files, and uploads.
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, and voice)
  • Assist with the creation of concepts and messaging for marketing campaigns and sales presentations.
  • Effectively collaborate with members of the team and broader organization to leverage data and feedback to iterate and continually improve upon creative output, delivering on business goals.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (English, Journalism or related field preferred)
  • Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Portfolio: We need to see your work! Please submit a link to your online portfolio, or include writing samples with your application. Examples of copywriting are required for consideration.
