I am seeking to hire an experienced paralegal/legal assistant with at 4-5 years experience, preferably in the area of family law. It is critically important for me to hire a qualified, motivated, self-directed person who has demonstrated job stability. I am looking for a person who is seriously committed to being a part of the law firm on a long-term basis.
Communicate effectively and timely with clients, lawyers, judicial assistants.
Schedule client interviews, depositions, court hearings.
Draft court documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, financial affidavits.
Conduct discovery. Prepare trial notebooks.
Organizing and tracking files for due dates.
Juggle multiple tasks.
Proven experience as a paralegal/legal assistant.
Proficient in the English and Spanish languages.
Knowledgable with court map; e-filings; and Quickbooks.
Excellent organizational skills.
Exceptional people skills.
