Job Description

Job Location is Remote within the US

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Manager creates and implements sales lead strategies via referral channels while supporting existing accounts to ensure growth and stability within the Proforma Screening Solutions (PSS)  account base. They will serve as a subject matter expert regarding PSS systems, processes, and service offerings, and will coordinate with internal and external parties achieve growth and retention goals. The Sales Manager will find new channel partnership opportunities, attend trade shows and attend onsite client meetings. They will also build relationships with existing clients/partners and look for opportunities to increase revenue within those relationships.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following (other duties may be assigned):

· Define and implement sales strategies that effectively grow the business

· Engage sales leads using defined methodologies (phone, e-mail, video) and guidelines (approved pricing) to convert prospects into paying customers

· Collaborate with the Director of Client Solutions and VP of Operations regarding pricing negotiations and renewals, to include proposed pricing and associated logic

· Manage and grow partnership relationships

· Participate in RFP Responses as needed

· Meet with clients, attend tradeshows, and travel as required

· Demonstrate the Proforma technical solution as part of the sales process

· Hunt for sales/partnership opportunities to grow your book of business

· Collaborate with Legal and Compliance regarding contract changes, pricing proposals and non-standard terms within agreements prior to contract execution

· Actively manage assigned accounts, to include proactive client communication, establishing regular check-in meetings, and a consistent review of available reports (client revenue, A/R, utilization, etc.) to ensure client health is always maintained

· Assist in the resolution of account issues from an operational and compliance perspective, to include interfacing with assigned accounts, setting up internal meetings and creating necessary documentation to assist in issue resolution

· Generate necessary documentation and related communications to support assigned accounts, to include regular reporting and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)

· Administer Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients, ensuring that the appropriate internal and external contacts are present to support decision making and to provide guidance and support

· Identify areas for upselling existing customers - create and implement strategies that increases revenue while improving the value that we deliver to our customers

· Adhere to Account Management principals and guidelines as defined by management, to include the number (and type) of client outreaches, Salesforce documentation and feedback loops to internal teams

· Facilitate pricing renewal discussions with existing accounts, with an appropriate balance of revenue, margin and retention

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Education:

o Minimum: 4-year college degree from an accredited school/university

Experience:

o Minimum: 3 years of Sales and Account Management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

o Preferred: 5+ years of Sales and Account Management experience

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to define, execute and measure effective a variety of Sales strategies

· Ability to collaborate and build materials necessary to meet Sales objectives

· Ability to mentor junior Sales staff on how to win business

· Willingness to learn sales methodologies to improve closure rate

· Aptitude for closing business deals given training, guidance, and experience

· High level of interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong closing experience

· Experience using Salesforce or other CMS

· Demonstrated interest in and ability to learn new systems and technology

· Ability to generate client Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) materials

· Ability to work cross-functionally to resolve client issues

· Ability to work with individuals at the executive level regarding items of a sensitive nature (operational issues, compliance, contractual items, etc.)

· Ability to generate unique and creative thinking as it relates to business solutions

· Ability to maintain high quality of work, especially as it relates to client communications

· Ability to perform product demonstrations with confidence and ease

· Ability to meet stated customer-initiated deadlines

· Demonstrate professional office etiquette and appearance

· Exemplify professionalism in all LRG-related contexts and activities

· Demonstrate a high degree of integrity as it relates to customer commitments

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

· Experienced in background screening industry a plus

 

WORK HOURS

Salaried position, ability to support clients after hours as needed.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Walking. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.

· Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which individual must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other team members accurately or quickly.

· Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

· Close visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection.

· Subject to both environmental conditions for activities that occur inside and outside.
