Administrative Assistant Dispatcher

CSR Dispatcher

  • Answer phone inquiries, direct calls and provide basic company information
  • Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed
  • Dispatch drivers
  • Update staff calendars and organize schedules
  • Receive and record information for all emergency and non-emergency calls
  • Address problems and make requests by communicating with the necessary parties or providing solutions
  • Perform non-emergency work, including receiving deliveries and dispatching orders for products
  • Multitask and prioritize calls according to their urgency
  • Use necessary equipment, including radio, phone, and computer, to dispatch personnel, vehicles, or field units to appropriate locations
  • Follow through to watch progress and assure timely assistance by monitoring the route and status of field units
  • Stay knowledgeable at all times, providing field units with vital information about orders, traffic, obstacles, and requirements
  • Demonstrate basic data entry skills needed to use the computer system to maintain logs and records of calls


  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience handling office responsibilities, experience in customer service, or related field
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars
  • Quickbooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
