Job Description

Our growing company is seeking to hire an Education Sales leader who will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with potential and existing customers in public and private education in the Memphis area.

As the public face of the company, you will be responsible for executing organizational strategies, meeting planned goals and quotes, and coordinating with other stakeholders on lead generation. You will also be tasked to track sales goals and targets and ensure that all costumers receive the quality of care that stands Lone Star Communications apart from the industry. In order to succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and organizational skills and the drive to sell safety systems to school districts throughout the state of Arkansas. In this role, you'll be providing life-saving systems for students throughout Arkansas. A demonstrated passion for the safety and well-being for students is a must.

Previous experience as a principal, assistant principal, or administrator is highly preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cold calling, follow-up appointments, and product demonstration or on/off site visits (Min. 50% travel across the state of Arkansas)
  • Determine or establish wants or needs of the customer through maintaining and growing relationships
  • Keep accurate documentation (job form, sales order, etc.) to convert sales into billable product
  • Coordinate with operations to transfer scope of work, schedules, and special requirements
  • Following up and ensuring project satisfaction and identifying additional sales opportunities
  • All responsibilities detailed by Director of Sales for LSC

Requirements

  • Previous experience of educational leadership is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience; including, but not limited to public speaking.
  • A strong understanding of computer networks and applications commonly utilized in the K-12 education market.
  • Demonstrated experience and success with business development.
