Position Summary

 The Logically Procurement Manager (PRM) is responsible for creating and executing a procurement strategy to streamline cost while providing quality products and services for the company across multiple locations. The PRM will actively lead a team to identify and screen potential vendors, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendors to ensure contractual obligations are met.  

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement procurement processes that are innovative, cost-effective, and efficient
  • Hands on leadership and development of a Procurement team including establishing priorities, setting and monitoring goals, managing resources, and coaching the team
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and deliver their Procurement needs
  • Build long-term relationships with vendors in the industry
  • Compare proposals for price and specifications
  • Identify potential vendors based on company or project need
  • Negotiate with vendors to reduce cost
  • Control current spend and establish long-term cost-savings goals
  • Review contract specifications on behalf of the company
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with critical vendors
  • Manage systems that track the shipment, inventory and supply of products
  • Track and report key functional metrics

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working experience as a Procurement Manager 
  • Superb communication, management, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Category experience in Software as a Service, IT Hardware, Cloud Services, or  Professional Services
  • In-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms including Request for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Degrees in Business Administration, Logistics, or similar relevant fields preferred
  • Experience working in a Procurement team for a high growth technology company a plus
