Position Summary:

The Mail Solutions Specialist is responsible for providing technical advice, counsel, and expertise in direct support of securing sales and achieving 100% of assigned quota for the mail solution products represented by Loffler.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be a subject matter expert for the mail solutions Loffler supports.
  • Assist sales with the evaluation of prospective customers, account strategy, and participate in sales calls when required.
  • Utilize technical acumen to understand and gather customer requirements and to prepare specifications and generate quotes.
  • Provide a solid design and implementation of software/hardware solution that meets the customers' business and technical requirements.
  • Develop statements of work, implementation plans, as well as coordinate third-party resources as needed.
  • Assist the installing service tech or analyst to ensure smooth hand off solution.
  • Follow-up with customers and internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry and competitive developments as applicable to local markets and position responsibilities.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in the RFP/RFI Process.
  • Make recommendations on process improvement and provide documentation, implement, train, and support process improvement that you recommend.
  • Responsible for ongoing personal skill development through the attainment of appropriate certifications and attendance at trainings.


  • Be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to internal and external customers, peers, and supervisors.
  • Can work successfully in a team or independent business environment.
  • Ability to focus on high customer satisfaction level as a mode of normal operation and possess effective follow-up and closing out of problems.
  • A balance of technical/people skills and demonstrated consultative selling approach experience.
  • A personal style that is proactive and self-motivated.
  • Proven problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Proficient in IT applications and in communicating technically with customer IT professionals.
  • Application knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidate must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and vehicle.
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time.


  • Associates or bachelor's degree strongly preferred with a focus on computers and/or information technology.
  • Prefer 1-3 years technical sales and/or industry related experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
