Distribution Analyst will be responsible to ensure the Global Distribution System (GDS), Central Reservation System (CRS) and online Web content is created and maintained professionally and accurately in all systems. Each analyst will have a group of hotels assigned for maintenance for which they will be the main point of contact. Maintenance will include entering and managing in the GDS, CRS and selected online channels the following information: marketing submissions, static content updates, rate loading and photo content as well as troubleshooting any issues the hotels or travel agents.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
+ Reports to Assistant Manager of Customer Engagement Center Distribution Operations.
+ Manages the Commission process for the chain in which Booking.com commissions are processed daily, Hotel commissions are processed weekly and Expedia commissions are processed monthly.
+ Serves as primary point of contact for Group Block Configuration and Maintenance in SynXis CRS and Opera daily.
+ Manages and track Rate Parity daily with the use of the Fornova application as well as assists with maintaining Quality Content Scores within the OTA extranets to ensure third party content is as accurate and up to date as possible.
+ Serves as primary point of contact for all system testing and new system rollouts including trouble shooting, resolving rate and content related system issues.
+ Creates and provides reports ad hoc for channel status and production on a regular and timely basis.
+ Performs complex data extracts and analysis using RM database and GDS via Lanyon tool.
+ Enters, maintains, modifies, and builds rates in CRS, Lanyon, GDS and online channels as requested by the hotels or corporate/regional offices, database including new hotels, sequencing, new rate plans, room types, etc.
+ Provides coverage, support, and resolution of issues for travel agency help desk phone and email queues.

+ Regular attendance in conformance with standards
+ May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs of the hotel
+ Required to attend all training sessions and meetings
+ Other duties as assigned

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Knowledge of Opera Reservation System, Lanyon, Sabre SynXis, and GDS systems
+ Proficiency in some of the following: Microsoft Excel, Macro, SQL, and Business Intelligence
+ Background in testing and launching new systems
+ Strong organizational skills required
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to multi-task
+ Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues
+ Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, team player, detail oriented

Qualifications
Education: Associate Degree or equivalent required. Bachelors preferred.

Experience: 3 years of relevant experience within the travel and hospitality industry
