Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)

Description:The selected candidate will join the Global Sustainment - Program Integration group for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program. The position provides direct support and assistance to the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Functional Product Lead and his team for managing and executing LCS ILS Post-Delivery projects. The candidate may also be called on to support related LCS acquisition or adjacent Small Combatant Surface Ships (SCSS) program efforts. The candidate will interface with program management, engineers, ILS functional leads and associated subcontractors/ teammates/ partners.

Typical Tasking includes:
Assist in the process of screening, assigning, collecting and reviewing impact assessments from multiple ILS functional areas in support of LCS Post-Delivery Support (PDS) change management
Assist in the development of execution tasking plans, issue product update tasking, and track execution status, including assist in maintaining monthly functional Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) status for post delivery ILS work items and chits.
Develop, update and deliver project status reports as formal Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL)s
Assist in the development of Basis of Estimates (BOE) and population of GenBOE estimating tool
Assist in the development of Subcontractor Statements of Work (SOW)
Interface with Material Cost Estimating Group for pricing of material costs
Coordinate with technical and subcontracting teams to ensure a rapid response to all material requirements for operational ships and ships in maintenance availabilities.
Prepare presentations for internal and external briefings and review

Basic Qualifications:
Experience in developing or reviewing products for delivery
Experience in performing data-oriented tasks that require attention to detail
Flexible, efficient, proactive self-starter with high organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focusing on performance and meeting deadlines
Experience with or demonstrated ability to learn the elements and associated products of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
Excellent technical writing and oral presentation skills
Ability to actively participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
Strong working knowledge of some or all of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) and Visio software applications
Desired Skills:
Preferably, you should also have these desired skills:

An understanding of logistics integration including dependencies between technical manuals, provisioning, outfitting, and configuration management
An understanding or background in scheduling, budgeting and/ or contracting
An understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) and resource planning
Previous experience working on US Government contracts
Experience with maintenance and supportability analysis
Experience with ILS requirements analysis and definition
Experience with GenBOE estimating tool
