Job Description: The Lockheed Martin Space Systems Human Resources team provides human capital support that aligns with the priorities of the business. This position is a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) supporting the Navy Strategic Programs. The successful candidate will be a champion of Lockheed Martin's culture and values, consulting with business leaders on strategic initiatives, working with employees and cross-functional groups to solve complex organizational challenges, and be an integral part of the client's leadership team. This will require analysis of data and development of innovative recommendations to solve short-term and long-term business opportunities and challenges to support and execute the Lockheed Martin Space Systems Human Capital Strategy. In addition, responsibilities will include partnership with the HR Centers of Excellence subject matter experts in delivering HR solutions in the following areas: Total Rewards and Performance Management, Salary Planning, Labor Relations, Talent Management and Development, Workforce Planning and Management, Diversity and Inclusion, Predictive and Actionable HR Metrics. The successful candidate will utilize metrics to measure success, identify trends, analyze systemic issues and partner with the HR Lead to develop holistic solutions.

As a trusted advisor, the HRBP must build strong relationships and partner with the program leadership team to anticipate client needs and proactively identify areas for collaboration and integration inside and outside the HR organization. Serve as a change agent, leader coach and employee advocate. The HRBP must consistently engage with key stakeholders in business and HR organizations locally and at other LM locations. The HRBP must operate independently, but remain effectively engaged and connected with FBM and greater HR teams at other LM locations.

The candidate must have a current or the ability to obtain an interim DOD Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications: *Proven ability to develop enduring relationships (internally and cross-functionally).
*Ability to maintain company and employee confidentiality and handle sensitive proprietary information in the appropriate manner.
*Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects through full lifecycle and effectively deliver results.
*Broad HR functional skills, for example, (Staffing, Employee Relations, Compensation, Labor Relations or other) developed through practical experience.
*Experience in customer/employee relations.
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including the ability to develop and analyze metrics.
*Ability to travel and work extended hours as needed.

This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired skills: *SHRM PHR/SPHR certification.
*Master's Degree in HR, Labor Relations, Business or related field.
*Ability to prepare and present HR initiatives and programs to management and employees.
*Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to speak, write and listen in a manner that clarifies issues, promotes closure and delivers information in a clear and concise manner which facilitates good decision making.
*Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of leadership, employees and peers locally and virtually.
*Demonstrated experience with leading local and virtual teams.
*High level of energy for a fast paced environment where multiple initiatives are happening simultaneously.
