Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an energized individual who is passionate about building the space technologies of tomorrow. We have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer to support some of the most exciting programs LM Space has seen yet!

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.)
• Ability to prepare and support presentation of materials at various program boards/reviews (e.g., PMR, CDR, PDR, TRR, ERB CCB, SRB, TIM)
• Demonstrated experience performing Quality efforts on both development and sustainment projects
• Ability to plan, manage and support multiple activities and tasks with minimal direction
• High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals and is adept at identifying issues/gaps and working to closure.
- Familiar with hardware engineering drawings.
- Entry level engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience working in multi-functional teams (e.g. SW Scrum Teams)
- Software development experience in coding in Agile environment.
- US Citizenship required to start with the ability to obtain a TS//SCI security clearance
Desired skills
- Active TS//SCI preferred
- Mission Solutions program development experience
- Ability to travel to install sites
- System lifecycle and processes
- System Documentation
- MS Office product skills
- System Test Experience a plus

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
