ABOUT LOCKE SUPPLY COMPANY

Locke Supply Co. is a growing, employee-owned distributor for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC parts and equipment based in Oklahoma City. The history of the company dates back to 1955, when Don and Wanda Locke opened a wholesale plumbing supply outlet in Bartlesville, OK. Locke Supply had a marketing vision of taking the merchandise to the customers' territory with exceptional customer service. It didn't take long for customers to develop a strong liking to the way the Locke Supply did business which led to the opening of a second branch in 1958. This concept has allowed Locke Supply to grow in areas never before considered. Today, there are over 165 store locations in a 7 state area and a 45-acre distribution center to supply them all.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ELECTRICAL BID COORDINATOR  

Tie Project Managers responsibilities would include the following, but not limited to:

 

  • Customer Service
  • Bid Coordination
  • Customer and Vendor Relations 
  • Project data entry
  • Credit information
  • Customer Order entry
  • Manufactures Purchase orders
  • Process change orders
  • Billing
  • Requesting submittals from manufactures
  • Project releases
  • Project expediting
  • Ability to Problem solve 
  • Manage projects so they are on time and in budget
  • Manage disputes
  • Balance and maintain Projects financials including all change orders
  • Recap project financials and ensure they are correct prior to closing


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong math skills
  • Minimum one (1) year of vendor relations
  • Previous construction project experience a plus
