Diversity & Belonging Social Media Intern

A unique opportunity exists for a bright, organized, energetic, and detail-oriented intern to join the Diversity & Belonging team at Live Nation Entertainment. The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, including social media technology, analytics and Best Practices.

The successful candidate will be contributing to strategic content design and planning, monitoring and posting on blogs and social networks, engaging in online commentary, participating in online outreach and promotions, optimization of sites and conducting data and metric reviews.

Essential Functions

-Partner with Diversity & Belonging Specialist to develop, launch and maintain diversity and culture social channels and vehicles, including but not limited to:

  • Write social copy and marketing copy/content
  • Plan content for relevant social media channels and vehicles
  • Organize and manage the social media content calendar
  • Brainstorm new content/pitch and execute new ideas
  • Research, identify and approach influencers and partners
  • Act as social media community moderator

-Research and share:

  • Latest social media trends, insights, hashtags and identify branding and content opportunities
  • Insights on Employee Resource Group (ERG) events and Best Practices, pop culture news, and trends in diversity and inclusion

-Assist in creating platform-specific social media assets (such as flyers, banner ads, videos, GIFs, etc.) and corresponding copy and content for social channels and vehicles

-Manage ERG marketing assets (images, video, other content, etc.)

-Capture creative video and photo content during Diversity and Belonging events, ERG events, etc.

-Assist with other administrative and copy tasks as needed


  • High proficiency in written and verbal communication with keen eye for grammar and spelling
  • Skilled in posting, managing and analyzing content from core social media platforms – Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Glassdoor & Indeed
  • Passion, creativity and innovation in generating ideas, social media practices
  • Passion for Diversity & Belonging
  • Strong work ethic, ability to flex with needs and work well under pressure
  • Must be available for a 6 month internship tenure
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop (video editing and graphic design is a huge plus!)
  • Basic knowledge of marketing fundamentals and advertising, as well as an comprehension of media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirements
  • Must be able to complete 16 to 20 hours per week
