Landscape Construction: Heavy Equipment Machine Operator

Littleton Earthworks, LLC is currently looking to fill a position on our team to assist in the installation of our landscape construction projects.

Position responsibilities:

* Proficient operation of compact excavators, track loaders, and wheeled loaders.

* Experience driving mid-sized commercial dump trucks.

* Loading and hauling heavy equipment.

* Delivery and staging of job materials.

Qualified candidates should have working knowledge with the following:

- Installation of retaining walls, patios, and walkway systems.

- Installation of lawns and plantings.

- Installation of utility and drainage applications.

Position requirements:

* 5 Years’ experience operating heavy equipment.

* Experience loading and hauling heavy equipment.

* Experience with site management of materials.

* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work well with other team members.
* Ability to lift 94 lbs.+.
* Self-motivated and reliable.
* Punctual (absolute must).

* Valid driver's license, Hoisting License and DOT Health Card required.

*Ability to work a minimum of 40 hrs per week and overtime if requested.

Candidates must be flexible to engage with additional tasks from excavation to plantings and other common landscaping construction tasks. We take a team approach to project objectives and everyone is required to pitch in to complete whatever tasks are at hand. Our main focus is on hardscape masonry applications such as patios, walls and walkways. We provide the complete landscape package, which also includes utilities, drainage, fencing, plantings and lawn installations.

This is a full-time seasonal position (March thru end of December).

Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
