2nd ShiftBasic Purpose and Scope:The Supervisor, Warehouse maintains sound operational practices of the organization and leads the team to drive performance expectations both operational and administratively.Core Values Culture Service:Responsible for driving the Litehouse culture through company core valuesAccountable for outstanding Customer service to all internal and external CustomersDevelop and maintain effective relationships through collaboration and consistent timely communicationHelp uphold a "Team Member" environment supporting others with positive behaviorEssential Functions and Responsibilities:Ensure all paperwork is signed, properly documented, all code dates recorded and any shortages flaggedDirect movement of shipments from shipping & receiving platform to storage and work areasDetermine space requirements and position of shipment in trucks and layout position of shipmentEnsure all products leave in a quality package, all loads are loaded to ensure the package is delivered to end customer in the best conditionResponsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts and proceduresManage the put away of finished goods dailyInspect material handling equipment for defects and notify maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repairManage stock rotation dailyPull and put in hold area all close coded items and hold productsAdjust errors and deal with complaintsReport, schedule, and manage warehouse personnelManage accuracy and quality of incoming materials per Litehouse Quality Receiving Standards of both present and future requirementsStudy shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedulesRequires supporting pickers and receivers as a back-up or an extra resourceOversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, and condition of shipmentCoordinate the loading and unloading of trucks and ensure that load locks and pallet jacks are securedTeam responsibility for general housekeepingMaintain LH Quality procedures for cleanliness of company and outside carrier trailersAll products that need to be dispositioned are to be dealt with daily and contained in one areaTimely communication with other departments regarding internal and external customer needsStudy standardized procedures SOP'sProvide a safe work environment at all timesWeekend work required as necessaryResponsible for all sample shipmentsResponsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisorOther activities and duties as assignedPick Orders and Load out bound trucksSupervisory Responsibilities:Warehouse employeesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM WORK:Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
